Reporting bugs


Please report any bugs you find in HomeBank at LaunchPad Bug Tracker for HomeBank.

When reporting a bug, please try to be the most precise possible, describing step by step what you have done. This is for developers to be able to reproduce the problem you encountered, which will be the start of their investigation.

Another important aspect is to try to reproduce the bug with the example_file, as this will ease to understand what you are talking about when describing what you have done to encounter this bug.

Also try to provide any useful things to help reproducing the problem you describe:

  • annotated screenshots when something is visual
  • miscellaneous file (OFX, CSV, ...)
  • ...
